2025 TPCA Trainings
Classes are offered throughout Texas and are open to all Texas law enforcement agencies. Trainings aim to provide the very best of executive and command level training for chiefs, commanders, and supervisors to lead and manage through their organizations.
The Texas Police Chiefs Association Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the families of officers killed in the line of duty. Through the Officer Death Benefit Program, a $10,000 check is delivered promptly to the surviving spouse, children, or parents during their time of greatest need.
In addition to financial support, the foundation invests in the future of Texas law enforcement by providing leadership training opportunities and sponsoring a statewide accreditation program to promote professional standards in policing.

Training
The Texas Police Chiefs Association offers targeted training to develop law enforcement leaders at every level. Programs include new chief orientation, executive leadership courses and the Law Enforcement Command Officer Program (LECOP)—a multi-course program designed for mid- and upper-level supervisors. TPCA training emphasizes strategic leadership, legal updates, and best practices to strengthen agencies and support ethical, effective policing across Texas.
